Are you looking for an email marketing provider to build your list?  Do you need to create and integrate forms and landing pages in your WordPress website?  How about adding a sales funnel to your online marketing?  If you answered yes to any and all of these questions then you’ll want to read my GetResponse Review here.

GetResponse is an all-inclusive digital marketing solution that I’ve been using for a while now.  Initially, I got it for its email autoresponder features.  But, as I quickly discovered, GetResponse provides just about all of the marketing features any business needs to grow their customer base.

GetResponse provides all the necessary functions for creating effective sales funnels and online marketing campaigns.

  • Ecommerce
  • Social Media Integration

GetResponse Pricing and Plans

GetResponse offers four different levels of plans to address all types of businesses and online marketing needs.

  • Basic $15 mo.
  • Plus $49 mo.
  • Professional $99 mo.
  • Enterprise $1199 mo.

You can save more money by opting for a one-year or two-year plan and pay as little as $10.50 mo.

Best of all, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial, which gives you plenty of time to try everything out and see how well GetResponse works for your marketing and sales funnels.  And, you don’t need a credit card to sign up either!

Signing Up for GetResponse

Signing up for a free GetResponse trial account is very easy.  As I mentioned, you don’t even need to enter any credit card information.  Just enter your name, email, and create a password.  Then, you’re good to go!

After you verify your email account, you’ll receive a welcome email and then you can start creating your marketing campaigns.

GetResponse Dashboard

When you log into GetResponse, you’ll find the dashboard very intuitive and easy to use.  You have button options to quickly create a form, newsletter, landing page, or autoresponder email message, as well as add to your contact list manually.

There is also access to helpful tutorial videos.

To access you existing forms, pages, email messages, and other functions, you just click on the menu button in the top left corner.

Creating an Email Marketing Campaign

Creating your email marketing campaign in GetResponse is also quite easy.  However, if you’re used to an email service such as AWeber, it may be a little different to you at first.

To create an email campaign, you compose each email separately through the autoresponder function and link them together by list.  You can specify when each email is sent—for example, how many days after signing up should the email be sent and during what days of the week.

Click the “Create new email” link to compose your message.

Just as with your landing pages, you can create your email message using one of the existing templates or starting from scratch using the HTML code editor.

Rather than use the raw HTML editor, I prefer to use the WYSIWYG editor to compose my email messages.  It’s available via the link at the bottom of the screen.  Currently, it’s listed as in beta, however I’ve used it extensively without any issues.

I’ve found the email component of GetResponse to be easy to use and it includes everything you need to create your email campaigns.  It isn’t as refined as an email specific service such as AWeber, but it’s certainly fine for most email marketing campaign situations.  Hopefully in the near future, the WYSIWIG email editor will be more streamlined and include even more functions.

Creating a Landing Page

To create a landing page in GetResponse, you click the “Create landing page” button on the dashboard.  You can create your landing page from scratch with a blank template or you can use one of the many existing eye-catching templates that can be easily customized.

The drag and drop page editor makes it very easy to add, delete, and move things around.  And, you can quickly add images, text, buttons, and forms to your page via the tool bar on the right side.

You can also create a corresponding Thank You page in the same way.

I really like the page editor and designs you get with GetResponse—definitely one of their strengths.

GetResponse Conversion Funnels

One of the most intriguing features included with GetResponse is Conversion Funnels.  With the Conversion Funnel function in GetResponse, you can choose from different pre-designed funnels that you can use to build your email marketing list, sell products, or promote a webinar.

After being guided through a couple of options, you’re presented with a funnel template that you can use to plug in your own sign up pages, download and sales pages, and email messages to quickly and easily build your sales funnel.

Once you publish it, you can easily view stats for each step of your funnel.

Conversion Funnels is a really cool feature that can help newbies create fully functioning sales funnels a lot more easily.

Integrating GetResponse with WordPress

GetResponse easily integrates with the major software platforms—including WordPress.  When you install and activate the GetResponse WordPress plugin, you can then easily add your landing pages and forms to your WordPress website.  Then, you WordPress site visitors can be added to your email marketing lists in GetResponse.

GetResponse also integrates with PayPal, WooCommerce, Shopify, and Facebook.

GetResponse Customer Support

Unlike some other sales funnel software services that I’ve used that have spotty support at best, I’ve experienced excellent customer support with GetResponse.  Response times are super quick and the support staff is very friendly and helpful.  I’m especially impressed with the live chat support, which you can easily access from your dashboard.

GetResponse customer support is available via live chat, email, and support ticket.  Live chat support is available 24/7.

Customer support is definitely one of top advantages that comes with GetResponse.

Alternatives to Choosing GetResponse

While GetResponse is my number one recommendation for email marketing and overall online digital marketing features, there may be certain situations where another email marketing provider would be a better fit.

For example, if you primarily are going to focus on affiliate marketing as your online business, then I would recommend AWeber.  I also use AWeber and they are usually less restrictive when it comes to including affiliate links in your email messages.

Also, if you’re looking for more of branding solution for your digital marketing and you’re running a non-affiliate marketing business, then you might want to check out Constant Contact.  They are one of the more established email marketing companies that focus on complete email marketing campaigns.

Like GetResponse, both AWeber and Constant Contact can be used with your WordPress website.

Conclusion and Recommendation

Overall, I’ve been very highly satisfied with GetResponse.  GetResponse allows you to create effective landing and thank you pages, as well as email marketing campaigns.  The GetResponse dashboard and editors are very easy to use, and the reporting analytics are more than adequate.  I’m also impressed with their customer support response times and resolutions—for me, they probably have the best support.  And, GetResponse is very reasonably priced when compared with other sales funnel software.

I strongly recommend you consider GetResponse for your business’s online marketing.
